Sport Equipment Manager and Pool Operator Juan Carrillo has been a dedicated member of Poly Prep’s staff for many years. He began his tenure working part time at the Lower School in 2004 while he attended New York City College of Technology and majored in mechanical engineering. Several years later he began working in his current role. Whatever athletic team students play on, Juan manages their uniforms and equipment. He also maintains the pool, ensuring a proper chemical balance for our swimmers. An integral part of what keeps Poly humming, Juan is the epitome of a team player. He enjoys working with coaches and students. When not at Poly, Juan remains a good role model for students and keeps active by exercising and playing sports. He also enjoys spending time with his family and friends and dabbles in photography.
