“As a health educator, I seek to empower students to make healthy choices by instilling health literacy, self-awareness, and confidence. I’m passionate about leading students toward their own models of self-care and social-emotional well-being.I believe schools are uniquely poised to help them find this as a community.”

Originally from the tiny island of Bermuda, Jessica Frith began her professional journey in Toronto, where she pursued rigorous training in musical theatre. Her path took a transformative turn after moving to New York and enrolling at CUNY, where a health education class sparked a deep interest in health promotion and equity. She earned an individualized BA in Psychosocial Health Studies and launched a successful well-being business, offering personal training and professional coaching. Committed to furthering her expertise, Jessica completed her MA in Health Education at Teachers College, Columbia University, in 2021.

Since then, she has found immense meaning in teaching health to K-12 students in clinical and classroom settings. She joined Poly’s Health & Well-Being Department in 2025.

Outside of the classroom, Jessica enjoys salsa dancing, hiking, and her latest pursuits—learning to climb and play the drums.
