In 2024, Dominique Agri joined Poly’s English Department as a Middle and Upper School English teacher. For several years, Dominique worked with nonprofit organizations whose missions include the education and advancement of marginalized communities. She also worked as a private chef and caterer in the NYC area for over a decade. Her enthusiasm for comic books, honed during childhood, became the vehicle for her graduate research in Women’s History at Sarah Lawrence College. Dominique is a creative writer as well as a contributor to non-fiction work, and was published in an anthology titled, Jewish Women in Comics in 2022. In her spare time, Dominique enjoys scuba diving, traveling, and recipe-testing new dishes. She lives in Brooklyn with her family.
