Andy Cooper-Leary joined the Poly faculty in the fall of 2022. Andy holds a BA in Drama & English from Tufts University in addition to an MA in Educational Theatre from NYU. He has 16 years of drama teaching experience most recently as the Performing Arts teacher at Leadership Prep Elementary in Brownsville. From 2009-2018, Andy won six Sports Emmy Awards as a member of the research department at MLB Network. Prior to his work with MLB, Andy was the drama teacher at the Hackley School and other Tri-State area independent schools. He has directed over 40 scholastic plays and musicals while developing curriculum for grades K-12.
