US Curricular Travel to Argentina Included Hiking Glaciers and Dancing the Tango

If you see any Poly students who went to Argentina over Spring Break, ask them what it was like to hike a glacier, eat at El Club de la Milanesa in Buenos Aires, go horseback riding, explore Patagonia and the Iguazu Falls on the border with Brazil, and learn to dance the tango. Spanish teachers Gaby Rubinson and Teresa Calvo Martinez, as well as World languages Department Chair Liz Mansfield served as chaperone.

As part of Poly’s mission to train the next diverse generation of leaders and global citizens, the school offers a challenging array of global learning opportunities each year, including study abroad trips and exchanges for Upper School and some Middle School students during Winter Break, Spring Break, and over the summer.
